Hokkaido Food Festival returns to Sea World Resort in 2009
The Hokkaido Food Festival has returned to Sea World Resort for another year, celebrating the flavours and culture of Japan’s northern most island. The award winning Hatsuhana Japanese Restaurant is proud to present the 2009 Hokkaido Food Festival, which runs from 1 June to 31 August 2009.
Marking its return for the eighth time, a highlight of the 2009 festival will be a Hokkaido themed a’ la carte menu, available nightly from 6.00pm. The special menu will be in addition to the restaurant’s regular a la carte, sushi and sashimi and teppanyaki menus.
Head Chef, Mr Masanao Igami, has created the special menu using only the finest ingredients and original Japanese preparation techniques. The special menu showcases some of the finest delicacies of the Hokkaido region in Japan.
Voted Best Asian Restaurant 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 by the Restaurant and Catering Awards Queensland, the Hatsuhana is indeed renowned for its superior cuisine.
